Andrew brings over 20 years of experience advising corporates, private equity sponsors, lenders and other stakeholders in complex and distressed situations. He is a licensed Insolvency Practitioner and has extensive experience across financial restructuring, contingency planning and large-scale operational wind-downs, often involving cross-border and diverse stakeholder groups.
His appointment continues the growth of KR8’s London team, complementing its established Restructuring and Real Estate teams and enhancing the firm’s ability to deliver integrated advice across complex situations.
Andrew has led and delivered a wide range of high-profile restructuring and contingency planning assignments. His recent experience includes advising on large-scale property restructuring programmes within the retail and leisure sectors, including the rationalisation and exit of extensive lease portfolios and the delivery of restructuring strategies through formal and informal processes.
Andrew has traded a financial services lender through an insolvency process, alongside supporting investment and financing situations and private equity-led transactions. He has played key roles in major international engagements, including the restructuring of a major hotel development in the Bahamas and acting as PMO lead in the runoff of Lithuania’s largest national bank, where he coordinated multiple workstreams across loan realisation, litigation and creditor management.
Andrew has significant experience in contingency planning and wind-down scenarios, including advising on the potential insolvency of a pan-European manufacturer, the wind-down of a global telecoms equipment provider, and involvement in the closure of UK operations for Thomas Cook. He has also supported solvent exits and operational restructuring programmes across a variety of sectors.
In addition, Andrew has worked on complex financial and commercial situations, including due diligence for fintech businesses seeking significant debt and equity investment, as well as advising on private equity fund restructuring and exit processes.
He has worked across a variety of sectors, with particular expertise in retail, leisure and hospitality, as well as financial services and cross-border engagements.
