Richard Harrison

Managing Director

Richard is a Managing Director in the Advisory team. Richard brings over 20 years’ experience in restructuring and private equity, specialising in capital and debt advisory, performance improvement and working capital optimisation.

He began his career at KPMG, where he spent 11 years in the Restructuring team, including a secondment with Barclays Bank’s Business Support unit. He later joined Endless LLP, becoming a Partner in 2021 and leading investments from the £100m Enact Fund III.

Richard has extensive expertise across food manufacturing, consumer, distribution, and industrial engineering and has held numerous Boards roles in these sectors. As a private equity investor, he has direct experience of creating and driving value creation strategies in both stressed and non-stressed scenarios.

 

Martin Gray

Martin has over 15 years of financial and business advisory experience having worked across both banking and accountancy. He specialises in providing restructuring and turnaround advice to creditors, corporates and sponsors.   

Before joining KR8, Martin spent eight years at Kroll growing and developing the UK Advisory practice, which he co-led, managing over 40 professionals nationally.  

Martin primarily focuses on independent business reviews, strategic options analysis, pre-lend reviews, debt advisory and special situations M&A. These core services involve extensive financial due diligence and providing hands-on support to management teams, and key stakeholders, in both growth and stressed scenarios.

Paul excels at uniting diverse groups to tackle complex challenges and his expertise spans a wide range of services including financing, capital structure optimisation, business strategy and operational improvement. 

As aChartered Management Accountant, Paul’s expertise includes business reorganisation, balance sheet restructuring, asset divestitures, mergers and acquisitions and both debt and equity financing. 

Lucy Edwards

Associate Director

Lucy is an Associate Director in our restructuring advisory team, with 8 years of experience in business restructuring advisory  including a recent secondment   to a national private equity firm.   

Before joining KR8, Lucy held roles at both Kroll Advisory and BDO LLP. 

Lucy’s expertise includes independent business reviews, strategic options analysis, pre-lend reviews and special situations M&A. 

She is an ICAEW Chartered Accountant and has completed the Certificate of Proficiency in Insolvency.
